Stop By While in Ajman
I was in Ajman for a day trip and stop by because it came up on things to do in Ajman. I am very glad it did because it was a wonderful museum and was very peaceful. I took the round-trip bus trip that will take you from Dubai to Ajman and leaves every 30 mins. If you stay on the bus to the last stop in Ajman then the museum is located right beside it. The museum was under construction while I was there, but the majority of the buildings were open. It also was not crowded at all, and it was a nice break from some of the overly crowded tourist areas. There are different buildings and, in each building, there are scenes with artifacts set up to visually display the history of the emirate culture. My biggest knowledge that I took away was the history of pearling in the UAE. I will admit before going I did not know that use to be a source of income for the UAE. The gift shop was closed when I was there, so I cannot speak if it will be good for souvenir shopping. I really had a great time there and found everyone working there to be very nice. They help me out with any questions and gave me some advice to what else to see the next time I am in Ajman. I hope to go back when it is fully completed to see the areas that were under construction while I was there in December.

Museum worth a visit
This is a lovely little museum to visit in Ajman- it has lots to offer from early settlers to current development. It’s set up is very practical showing how the people of Ajman used to live and trade before the current development. Entrance to this museum is minimal - like other museums in the region.
