Awesome factory tour!

Inaugurated in 2001, the Lamborghini Museum, located in the Italian Motor Valley, has been updated to become MUDETEC, Museum of Technologies. It is where the company’s captivating history, iconic models and tours of the production lines tell the story of over 50 years of innovation that project Lamborghini into the future. Models range from the early visionary creations of Ferruccio Lamborghini’s genius, like the Miura and Countach, to the more recent and exclusive super sports cars, like the Sesto Elemento, the hybrid concept car Asterion, the Veneno and Centenario limited editions, the Aventador SVJ and the Huracán EVO RWD. MUDETEC offers an increasingly interactive experience, also thanks to the new driving simulator and the #lamborghinimudetec app, with which the excitement and discovery of the vehicles on display are amplified with augmented reality.

VW Group: Please honor Lamborghini’s vision.
? About 20 cars on display and one game simulator in two floors. A couple of models are not real (plastic and cardboard). Some models look deteriorated and could be better maintained. ?️ Parking lot in front of factory/museum, ~98% full by 10:30am since it’s also used by employees. ? Air Conditioning is not strong enough on a 40 ºC/104 ºF day with about 30 guests inside. ? WiFi works only on the 2nd floor. Might want to avoid the social network registration by clicking on the bottom button (Italian only). ? For Game simulator you must BUY SEPARATE TICKET IN ADVANCE. ☕️ No cafeteria, bring your own water bottle and plan on visiting the Trattoria on ? 2 bathrooms on the 1st floor with no baby changing station. ? The “Boutique” (Shop) is outside of museum. Item prices vary, as low as €17 to hundred of euros and variety is limited. #ruizmedina⭐️ #lamborghini #mudetec #travel #traveltips #familytravel #italy #santagatabolognese #lamborghini #lamborghinimuseum #mudetec

    Nice…once you get there
Nice enough museum with a few great cars on display. However…a pain to get to it. It would be helpful to have a few more information on the website regarding means of transportation. You can get a bus from Bologna, but Google maps will tell you to take a train, then change to a bus. Do not do that. Italian public transportation services seem to be almost always late, so we missed the connection to the bus because the train was late, the next bus was an hour away, we could not find any taxi in the town where the train left us….it all ended up being a bit of a nightmare. We had a tour booked for 11, so we called the museum to ask if we can enter the museum later than that, as we are late. We’ve been told we can’t. We sat disappointed on a bench for a while, straddled, ready to return home, then checked the website again and noticed the museum is open until 5pm. So it made no sense that we could not enter the museum if we missed the 11am tour. We decided to go the the museum door anyway and try our luck. Once we got there, we found out that we can easily use our tour tickets to gain general entrance to the museum, which I still don’t understand why it wasn’t said when we called. Long story short…after much confusion, running after buses, searching for non existent taxis in the middle of nowhere and spending a small fortune on international phone calls…we got there in the end. It ticked the box, but the whole experience was somehow soured.
