A lovely little lake with some nice restaurants where you can eat authentic cuisine from the area cheap. Nice hiking trails nearby!

Stunniing!
This place up in the mountains is a real gem. They have a couple of restaurants which are open during season (short window if you want to catch them), and a number of marked walks from a mile or two up to about 6 miles if I remember right. The views are fantastic and I think at the highest point its about 5000 feet or maybe a little more. Definitely worth an afternoon walk.

Lago Santo is a natural lake surrounded by mountains. It is quite heavily ‘exploited’ with a number of bars and restaurants all of which are well-frequented. As a consequence it is not the most peaceful mountain lake experience. For that, go to the nearby Lago Baccio.
