Ducati factory tour and museum Bologna
Had a great time at Ducati factory tour and museum. Tip is to eat at cafe at entrance to estate as no eating or food at factory. Anyway fascinating tour of factory, tour guide speaks through ear monitors you get. Lots of interesting facts and things to see. Hanging around the top secret FACTORY RACING DOOR you might even see some recognizable faces, Davide Tardozzi walked past, current Ducati factory race team manager and legendary guy from way back even before Foggy, we'll let him off he went to BMW for a bit cause he came back. I digress sorry. Throughout the tour you are not rushed and it is great to see bikes started for the first time then run up on the dyno close up. On to the museum and lots of bikes to see and allowed to sit on some new models in the showroom. To book you have to email and receive a reply but we phoned as didn't get a reply. Also got the bus from middle of Bologna and took 25mins , best to purchase tickets from any shop near the bus stop.

Great tour of the lab and museum
The girl that showed us around the laboratory and explained the internals of the engines was really good and made it very interesting. It was great to see their latest racing bike there. The museum itself had lots of gorgeous motorbikes and it was fascinating to learn that Ducati originally made radios and projectors until their factory burned down and they changed tack. Shame not to see the factory but can well understand that they need to protect their workers from the virus.
