With the very edge of the mountains as starting point, visitors have every opportunity to experience cross-country skiing at its best. The network of trails connects to the Lillehammer, Hafjell and Sjusjoen networks, and over 2,500 km of trails are available in total. The mountain plateaus, offering cross-country ski trails through open and gentle terrain, are within easy reach. If the weather turns bad, the forests close by provide excellent shelter from the wind. Nordseter offers excellent ski and equipment hire facilities.

PERFECT START FOR A TOUR DOWN TO LILLEHAMMER!
Just 14 kilometers and 20 minutts drive by bus from Lillehammer. A nice and open area in the mountains. Very popular among the Danish and British people. Arriving at Nordseter you can either stay at one of the hotels or bungalows, or you can go crosscountry skiing down again. As I live in Lillehammer, I prefer go skiing. Some parts of the track are flat, some parts are steeper. It takes appr.one hour or less if you are a good skier. But time does not matter here, as you are out in fresh air and want to relax in beautiful surroundings. You can take with you food and tea and light a fire in the wood. A very good attraction for children!

Awesome cross country skiing,endless trails and beautiful views.
The skiing here was a wonderful experience. We skied up to Pellastova and had a small lunch as the prices very very expensive. A bowl of soup was 125NK or $20CDN, but very tasty. All the trails were in excellent shape.
