Best skiing ever
We’ve only been to the Alps before. This was so much better: almost no quest for the lifts, miles and miles of piste, more laidback environment (less part party than the Alps). 2.5h from the airport. Loved it. No going back now.

Great slopes and lifts
We were very pleased with our week at Kvitfjell. The slopes are very good and long, and well maintained. The lifts are quick - several 6-chair lifts. There are also good cross-country tracks from the top.

Beautiful nature - logistics could be improved
Beautiful ski-resort with plenty of options both for the beginner and the more experienced skier. If you are lucky with the weather and snow conditions there are even good opportunities for off-pist skiing. So nothing to complain about when it comes to the slopes. What could be improved is the infrastructure. The area is quite spread out and there is no obvious way to get around to for example some of the restaurants when you don't have skis on your fee. But in all fairness, most people have skis on most of the time. At night however you need to bring a flashlight or something if you plan to go across the slopes.
