Great way to get to the mountain for hiking
The Ryesvei is an exciting zig-zag path located in the terrain below the Krossobanen Cableway. This outstanding track is open for sledgeriding. The distance from the upper station Gvepseborg down to Krosso is 3851 meters, the difference in altitude approx. 500 meters and it winds down through a total of 21 curves. This makes it the longest sledge-hill (with lift) in Norway.

Nice
Good view of gauatatoppen , and a very nice hike around the top Easy access and all, we liked it with our 7 and 4 year old

Beautiful view, lovely cable car
I was in rjukan for 3 weeks, work related, I we were allowed to use this attraction for free. This was the best activity we found to kill free time in town. First when you go up, you are presented with a magnificent view of all the valley. When you get on top you can enjoy some time at the panoramic restaurant, or you can go down with a bobsled. I took option number 2, its a 20 minute ride downhill in a 4km track. just simply amazing
