Beautiful Kayak tour

We (family with 2 adults and 2 kids (9 and 11 years old) booked a kayak trip. The route normally starts near their office and goes than via the ocean into the gorge. Due to the high waves we could not make the first part of the route. The gorge was really beautiful. Our guides Clifton and Curtley were helping and have a great sense of humour. They also tell about the gorge, how it emerged and which flora and fauna are living. After the kayaking we did some peddeling on a air bed to the end of the gorge. It was also possible to jump of the cliffs (4 meters) which the kids did (not me, I have the responsibility for the family ;)). I can really recommend this tour.

    Fun in the Sun
This is certainly an activity for everyone , not to strenuous very safe . We were fortunate that the sea was calm so we were able to launch close to their office area. If weather is not great one can launch further up in the river. We paddled about 300m up the river admiring the beautiful scenery & the gorge. Our guides were always keeping an eye , 1 in the front & 1 at the back of the group . The pace was very relaxed After the paddle we hopped out , climbed over a few rocks & then got a lilo & floated down the river for about 100m & then back again. Lifejackets are provided & you can hire booties if you don't have your own water shoes. There are many opportunities to take photos with your phone/camera , just take along a wet bag & the guides a also more than happy to snap a few pics . The trip is under the infamous Storms river suspension bridge We felt safe from the beginning to the end & the check in process was quick & easy & if you do an online check in , which is sent to you , the process is really seamless There are changing facilities & a restaurant close by , quite a few hikes as well & great views should you wish to chill afterwards. Its in SANPARKS so if you have a Wildcard there is no entry fee
