Don't Miss a Visit
Jeffreys Bay houses a word class shell collection at the Shell Museum... May I brag a bit.... I was the Mayor of Jeffreys Bay and was responsible for the building of the current Shell Museum in an effort to preserve the fantastic seashell heritage of the world. The Jeffreys Bay collection is rated as one of the worlds finest and was largely built up through the dedication of a great lady Charlotte Kritzinger who lived in Jeffreys for many years.. The original museum was closed and the collection put in boxes and stored... I fought for years to create a new home for the collection and eventually we convinced the Town Council to put up a new tourist center which would house the collection where it is today. The current collection which was expanded through the efforts of a very dedicated lady Thea Marsh who has subsequently passed away.. A visit to Jeffreys Bay is not complete without a visit to the Jeffreys Bay Shell Museum which is situated centrally on the beachfront of the town.

SEA SHELLS GALORE
This is the place to visit in J Bay. There are so many different shells on display and the colors and shapes. It was amazing. DON'T miss out on this. The variety of shells in the seas can not be describe what feeling when you have to see this.
