Magic on the Kowie River
What an absolutely amazing experience! My husband and I enjoyed one of our best weekends thus far ... there is not much that can top this! The professionalism of the team at Houseboats Port Alfred is commendable - it's great to still receive customer service on top level! The weather was perfect for cruising down the river - so peaceful and beautiful. While eating our breakfast on the river, a couple of giraffes surprised us on a nearby hill - a magical moment. The houseboat has everything you might need (and more) ... the braai is a definite bonus! If you ever wondered whether you should do something like this ... go out, book your weekend and enjoy a fabulous time!

Awesome Experience
A unique experience; took one out for one night and enjoyed every moment of it. The Kowie River is beautiful and navigating it with a house boat means you have all the space and comfort whilst enjoying beautiful views. The highlight was definitely anchoring under a star filled sky just up river from Mansfield. The boat is filled with all conveniences for an overnight trip with comfortable beds, clean linen and plenty of space for a family of 4. We have just booked our second trip :-)

Houseboat review
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. It was nice and peaceful on the river, yet we felt safe. We were well informed of the facilities and would definitely come back or recommend a stay on the houseboat to friends and family.
