Always a hit for young and old
Every year I visit Skriðuklaustur. Every year it inspires me. Every year I drive away with a head full of ideas and my stomach full as well. For me this place feels magical. The unique building, the story behind it, the landscape, the museum, the different exhibitions and last but not least the cake buffet... omg I’ve heard the lunch buffet is amazing as well, but my sweet-tooth keeps coming back for the cakes. It always baffels me why people order from the menu when they can have the buffet. Visit Skriðuklaustur whether you are on your own or travelling with people of young or old age - you’ll love it.

    Great food
Great experience, extremely good food and very fun museum. The food was typical Icelandic but not like weird Icelandic food like shark and sheep head but normal food that’s typically eaten in Iceland but better version. Also some gluten free and vegetarian options so highly recommend eat there
