I could not say enough good things about Flying Camp. I just finished my 36th flight here, and I am about to take the P2 pilot's test. I am so thankful for David (Dave), Austin, Joe, and Grayson for being the rockstar instructors that they are. They are incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and personable. The site offers diverse flying opportunities for ridge soaring that you won't find in the West. David works hard to foster a community feel, with weekly barbecues and a Thanksgiving potluck. 5 stars all around!

Over the top fun!!!
I had the dream to fly and Dave and his excellent instructors made it possible. The training was safe and informative. They provided the gear to learn. The vast experience of the instructors was impressive. Two flight locations made it easier to make use of the wind available that day. The setting of the facilities is beautiful and the shower house makes it easy to stay on the grounds for out of towners like me commenting from Asheville. If you have the desire to fly safely they make it happen. They also do a lot of tandem flights for visitors of if you want to see if it is for you. Michael H.

Paragliding Adventure
Another adventure checked off! Thanks Austin for treating me to a great tandem paraglide flight. The winds were a bit challenging, but you found the right moment for us to launch. Even better that we got some lift ... 500ft +. Paragliding is so peaceful - like a drifting butterfly.
