A very fun family activity
We rented 4 electric bikes on Sunday, having called and reserved about a week in advance. All in our group ranging in age from 18 to 57 had fun. Just like when we tried to Segway, we were a little nervous at first but there was instruction and practice time given and after a few minutes and assuring we had the right size bikes and adjustments in seat heights and handle bars, we were off on our 4 hour rental. We rode about 13 miles or so in all, heading north on the Pinellas Trail into Palm Harbor, then Turing around and going south into downtown Dunedin where we stopped for a lunch break. There are many places along the way to stop to get a snack, some shade, and water breaks. We saw many fun bars and restaurants we never knew existed and we had a great day together trying something new. The bikes are fun and you can pedal without the motor assist or set the speed to assist or you and it picks up the speed when you start pedaling or you can hit the throttle on the straight-aways. Lots of fun and I wouldn’t mind having one of these bikes because I could ride further without worrying about being too tired to pedal home or when needing to go up inclines.

Great Bike Day in Dunedin!!
Caroline and Rick were great to work with!! They are so enthusiastic about Pedego and for good reason! What started as a 5 day rental became a 3 bike purchase!! We loved these bikes!! Caroline and Rick are knowledgeable, helpful, and so patient!! I highly recommend that you check them out when you are in town.... try the electric bike...it's so fun!! We will never ride "acoustic" again!! Thanks again, Caroline and Rick!!!
