Assen MotoGP the place to be!
I go every year and have booked different stands in the past. The stands are called Tribunes and the ones that offer the best views are Hoofd, Haarbocht, Winterdijk and Strubben but you need to book early to get the best viewpoints. For the Assen TT in June the best tickets always sell out first. Note that the lower the Tribune number(eg HH 7, FF9) the nearer you are to the front. BUT in the Haarbocht in particular you want numbers higher than 15 or you will be looking at the race through a wire fence and the photos you take will be rubbish. All of these stands have big video screens so you will see all of the race although often the commentary is in Dutch... Best view of the pits and podium is from the Hoofd but these tickets are like gold dust. Main reason to buy Hoofd is because this is the only reasonably priced COVERED Grandstand. And when it rains at Assen and the wind gets up the Strubben really is not the place to be. The other stands you can run round the back of the Hoofd to shelter. Hope this helps!

Great camp site for the TT circiut Assen
If you are planning a trip to the TT circuit Assen I can reccomend Camping Seinen as the place to stay. Very friendly and well run garden campsite. Very good ameneties. Nice bar and beer hall in a converted barn with great value home cooked food on sale. The site is about 4km from the centre of Assen and 2.5km from the circuit main entrance which works out as a pleasent 40 minute walk. We stayed for the motogp in June and paid E50 for three nights camping per person.
