Nice

The outdoor playground is very retro, but it adds to its charm, most of the attractions are man-power driven. There's a petting zoo. Indoor playground is much more popular and fun, but could be cleaner. Overall experience with a toddler - satisfied:)

Family visit kids 2-8 years old
We had a lovely time today visiting Sprookjeshof. We spend the full 6hrs and our kids never got bored. The indoor playground was the main part for us as it was rather cold today. Our oldest daughter (8) had a lot off fun and even enjoyed the fairytales outside a lot. Obviously the younger ones (6, 4 and 2) had a fantastic day. Definitely worth visiting for kids up to the age of 10.

Fairy Garden Zuidlaren for young children
The Sprookjeshof (Fairy Garden), is already for more than 50 years a favorite place for children in the north of the Netherlands. It is a mix of a small park with different interactive diorama's of fairy tales. I think this part is attractive for kids between 2-7 years. Next to this fairy park, there are a large playground, a childrens farm with goats and since last year a very large indoor playground with modern equipment spread over three levels. So now The playground and indoor playground are attractive for kids between 4 - 12 years old. At the sprookjeshof a limited selection of average food is available, but you can also bring your own food. My son (6 years old) is not very interested in the fairy tale garden, but loves the playground. Especially the new attractions where you can shoot soft rubber balls and the climb pyramids both inside and outside. Other nice thing is that it is less crowded in the north and therefor no waiting lines at the attractions.
