Perfect area
The area is well sustained and there are a lot of marked pathhes. You cab walk for 5-6 hours. As the area is protected for water winning you can find explanation panels on the way.

Beautiful nationaal park, great walks for all ages, once you get past the parking
First time visit to the dwingelderveld, and straight in at the top of our list of Dutch natural parks to hike wit the kids. Very beautiful walk with varied landscape and windy paths full of reveal moments. Parking was easy to find, few to many dig walkers at the start, but apart from that, perfect for a nice family walk.

Wonderful piece of nature
The National park Dwingelderfeld is a very beautiful piece of nature. You'll find hiere everything what is representative for the Original outlook of the province Drenthe: Hay, woods, ven (little lakes in the hay) sheep, fox and other animals. A fantastic palce for nature walks or bicycle tours.
