It is Smaller than D53
The grave D54 is located 150 m east of D54, on the other side of the road. This grave is smaller than D53. It has six capstones, four of which rest completely on the bearing stones. The easternmost capstone is missing, also the keystone below it. However, all fourteen side stones are present. There is still one gate side stone. From the information board, this grave was built between 3400 en 3100 BC.

Nice but there are better options
This park provided a nice walk and sheep farm, but the sheer number of people here and kids crawling all over the hunebedden put me off. We'd seen many other hunebedden without anyone near (there are so many to find!) that I would recommend going to some lesser known ones than to stop here. I found it disconcerting and disrespectful that so many people and children were climbing all over the burial mounds and stones. Also damaging to stones over time.
