A tour of nature made exciting - Bring warm clothing!
Eko-Tours organize an excellent tour of UNESCO Geopark De Hondsrug using electrical offroad vehicles. A lot of the fun of the tour sits in driving the vehicles which are safe, strong and performant. Also the various stops with explanations by guide Ruud are outstanding. Amongst other things we visited a Hunebed (burial monument from the stone age) and the sheep's stable in Exloo. The tour can start with a lunch or end with a BBQ at Fletcher hotel Exloo, the base location of Eko-Tours. Coffee and a biobreak are provided in restaurant along the way. It is really worthwhile to bring pretty warm clothing for a tour in the winter - even at 8 degrees Centigrade we felt fairly chilly.

Amazing excursion!
It was really fun and informative. We were a group of 10, made of 3 year old children, teenagers, and adults. All of us had a great time. The guide was very friendly and explained to us especially in english since we did not understand dutch. Very much worth the price.
