Worth the money and very interesting
Our kids love tanks so this was always going to be a hit. There is a live display and multiple display halls full of tanks plus a soft play by the cafe when the adults need a caffeine hit and kids need to let off steam. There are often live displays in the Kuwait arena and this is always thr highlight for ours. The ticket is an annual pass so definitely worth the money so go early if on holiday so you can return in the week especially as a rainy day option as other than the display all indoors. Staff are also knowledgeable which is rare in a lot of places and one guide spent 45minutes with my son talking in one display hall and even gathered an interested crowd!

Fantastic day out at Tankfest 2022 just needs a few tweaks before I would return.
Tankfest. A very good day out. Run very well by both staff and an army of volunteers. The tank museum is extremely good. Unfortunately we went on the Saturday which was fully booked. The museum, displays and stalls had enough capacity for everyone but the arena area definitely did not. The shows were split into two with an Am and Pm. We attended the pm session but unfortunately there just wasn't enough room for everyone. Certainly in the yellow section we were cramped and people were being stepped on as and when people were coming and going. With people so tightly packed in tensions were quite high. The other issue was with so many young children there the show was just too long for them. With places being at a premium the parents were reluctant to take the children out as there would be no space on their return. My suggestion would be a more family friendly amount of 4 shorter displays with a cut down level of content per day for the Saturday and Sunday and maybe a longer more detailed display on the Friday which was much quieter for the people wanting a more in depth experience. Displays like the Sherman story would be better put into the Friday displays as most of the audience didn't really appreciate that part of the display. As others have said the fish and chip stalls were both extremely expensive and not good quality however some of the other food stalls were much better. The ice cream van was also expensive(£4.50 for a 99 flake). Certainly on the Saturday it needed more seating aswell however I would imagine this would if been much better on the Friday and Sunday. It sounds like we did not enjoy it but it was so we'll run with such enthusiastic and hard working bunch of people it's got the potential to be a fantastic day out. Definitely if I was to return it would be on a quieter day.
