    Thought provoking memorial
This is an incredibly moving memorial to the lives lost in the Vietnam War. It's simple and it's overwhelming....the population of a small city etched in stone. So much given and so much lost. It was very different in person than the pictures I have seen.

    Sobering
Met our expectations and then some. The reminder of the history was overwhelming which left us with a deepened sense of American pride yet, grief over the loss and the VW history. The anger over this "unnecessary war" is still fresh for my parent and it was really emotionally challenging being there.
