Jamin, the tour guide, is a rock star!
Visited this location with a friend and would say this is a place you don't want to miss. We signed up for a tour that included a flight, four tastings on the tour with one of them being in the tree house all for $20 per person. This was money well spent. Jamin, our tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable of all things Dogfish Head from the history of the company to the production facility. He was fun and friendly. It was just two of us so he took extra time. My favorite thing was how he added humor to the visit and shared some of the staff names to some of the equipment. The facility is super pet friendly inside and out since you order your bites at a window. We didn't have any food but enjoyed the beer selection. If you are a beer fan you will not want to miss their R&D selection. These products are under development and you will not get them in the stores. Will return on a future visit.

The tour was slightly off center
Well sorry uh the whole thing, tour, food, and drink. Tiffany gave a great tour. I thought this was a little place, WOW, so not small. The operation is truly awesome. We did a tour and man Tiffany gave us those silly little details that make it a great tour. The Tree house so cool. The wooden casks made of San Palo wood from South America were beautiful. The story was so great. We had a few taste tests along the way, the Southern Passion IPA was really good, I hate IPAs. Really hard to describe everything but just know if you go you will be impressed. It was funny to see the pipes running from the brewery to the cannery building, so about 4 pipes running beer to the cannery, about 300 yards, I don't know why this was astounding to me but it was. Also, the way they reuse/repurpose things even water, I know this sounds weird too but hearing the way they do things really speaks to the indepth thought in this brewery. Ok so how are things tasting, you ask? We had several pull pork sandwiches, they are fantastic. Beers, some I like some I don't, but that is the nature of this please have an open mind there are lots of great beers, promise there is one you will like. So one of the cool things is they have lots of R and D beers you won't find anyplace but here try them. They do have merch and it is cool. they do have spirits if beer is not your flavor, Honestly and pleasantly, this place was far more than I expected. This is also dog friendly. I can't mention everything so here you go..if you are in Delaware go here, you won't be disappointed, food, beer, spirits, games what more do you need.
