Nice visit

Went there by myself after walking around the historical district. It's a very small place but I really enjoyed my time at the museum. I was so happy to see the Monsters Inc drawings! The lady at the front desk was very nice to me.

    From books to art
The Carnegie Visual Arts Center was a little gem we came across while in Decatur. It was easy enough to park on the street, and upon entering we were welcomed and asked to sign the guest book. No admission fees. The building is old (built in 1904) and charming, showing its past life as a library funded by Andrew Carnegie’s money. The center isn’t too large which makes viewing all the art pretty manageable. Check the website for current exhibit information.

    Local theatre production
'Love, Life, and the Dress I Wore' Bank Street Players' delightfully entertaining, amusing, and insightful interpretation of 5 beautiful and charming women's lives. Attended this show with my wife. I laughed at the dialogue and even more at my wife's enjoyment. This is a great show. Thank you.
