Do it! We didn't even know it was there first trip! Went this time!
Do it! Just do it! It's worth the time. It's a fun walk. A lot is actually shaded. It's a cool desert oasis. An easy and quick walk to the entrance from the David Dead Sea and other Dead Sea hotels. Some people brought lunch and ate it there. It was beautiful. We would do it again. Wear water shoes. Look for brown sign that says "Wadi Boqeq" on the main road behind the David Dead Sea. You should see some cars pulled over by the sign too. Walk down the slight incline from there, then follow the stream to the water fall. A desert oasis!

The Bokek River is a “Natural, Unpolished Diamond” to the shores of the Dead Sea.
On the western side of Route 90, opposite the David hotel, is the entrance to the “Bokek Canyon”. Signposts at the entrance. You can cross the road at the water pass at its foot and enter the stream. The walk in the stream is short, pleasant, shaded and does not require any special effort until reaching the water. Water - Depending on the season (Pay attention to the winter floods warnings). You can reach the tiny pools and waterfalls where you can wash or sit calmly next to them.

Definitely one of the best places around here! If you are fit for 30 min walk through bushes and stony path that's perfect! Your award is awaiting for you-nice plunge of warm mountain water!!! Strictly recommended!!!
