Originally wanted to go offshore for a full day trip but big waves kept us close to shore. We got immediate action the first time we put a line in the water. I caught a perfect sized Red Drum (26”), just under the slot limit of 27”. We went on to catch 9 monster Red Drum all over 30”. We also put in the box 2 Pompano and a beautiful Mangrove Snapper. We caught and released an amazing jumping Tarpon. We caught and released a 25 pound Snook. For the day, we caught and released several other species of various sizes. In 60+ years of fishing, absolutely my best day ever. Captain Fred (Frenchy) was knowledgeable, helpful, and really makes the experienced angler (me) and a complete novice who had never caught a fish (my guest), feel equally comfortable. I highly recommend you book a trip and leave the rest to Captain Fred for a great day of fun!See more..
