Dogs playground

I can't take my dogs there cause they are protective German Shepard's. My daughter takes her dog there. I went with her a couple times. Even if u font have dogs is great entertainment! The dogs are like little kids playing at the playground. Going up to other dogs asking them to play. Its hilarious!!! It's a must see!!!!

    Love this place!
Not only do I like this place but my dog absolutely loves it! My wife and I come on a weekly basis to the park to either walk our dog or biking the adjacent trails (paved). The park has four different/separated areas for dogs to run free. The largest of the areas is huge and doesn't have any restrictions on the size of dog. If you have a larger dog that needs a place to run, this area is the one for you! The second largest of the areas is for small dogs. My Bishon is a pain around large dogs so this is where we stick to. There is also two other small areas for less sociable dogs. There's a pavilion and benches for the humans to use and well as watering stations for the dogs. We've rarely ever had any issues as most of the owners we've met are friendly and responsible. Mean/aggressive dogs are not welcome and neither are females in heat. The smaller areas can be used at first, if you're unsure of how your dog will react in the larger areas to ease their transition. This is a wonderful place easily reached by car, bike or walk (by way of the Black Creek Trail), that is one of my favorite places in the area.

    Could be Better
This is a good dog park. Two areas for big and small dogs. There are also separate enclosures for privacy or unsettled dogs. Lots of water and waste bags which I hate to say are not used enough. Lately I have seen a lot of dog doo not picked up. And yes some people don’t watch/control their dogs. Fortunately I have a large happy go lucky guy that is able to put up with the bullies. And yes it does get muddy in the big dog area. But I still enjoy coming here to give my dogs exercise. I just keep an eye out for potential situations and speak up or move to a different spot to avoid problems. The walking trails are also super. Much nicer than the one in Columbiaville.
