    Great distillery tour
We wanted to experience a distillery tour while in Nashville and chose Nelson's Green Brier out of sheer convenience; however, it ended up being so much more than that. For $12 a piece, we got a great history lesson with a funny and knowledgeable guide, and the tour culminated in a tasting that offered a hearty amount of whiskey and other spirits made on the premises, which, if ordered anywhere on Broadway, would have been at least double the cost. I would highly recommend Nelson's to anyone who is interested in visiting a Tenessee distillery with an amazing history.

Distillery Tour & Tasting had great stories
I do recommend taking the tour and tasting. We went early. However, I'm giving it 4 stars because I think going during the week when distillery workers are working rather than a weekend (when we went) would be better because we simply walked around the copper kettle and warehouse with barrels, but didn't see they actually distilling the whiskey in bottles or labeling, etc. Maybe a bit pricy for the tour we had, but I have no idea of what other distilleries charge. This was our first time in Nashville and this place seemed better than the others from websites. However, the stories told and the tasting overview was still great! I would go again because I understand in about a year, they will add a cafe/restaurant and other parts of this growing business with roots deep in Tennessee. This is the original Tennessee Whiskey place to go.
