Beautiful parks
These parks are very large and were formed from land donated by the Percy families. There are many things to do: above all strolling, walking and jogging. But you can go bicycle or horseback riding too. At the northern tip of the parks, is a golf course and above that the Cheekwood estate. The most beautiful thing for me was a very gorgeous series of stone step and walkways that is built into the hillside. Great place to relax, exercise and refresh. The parks are right off Old Hickory Boulevard.

Nice Trails
Hiked Percy Warner’s white trail today. Beautiful weather and lots of people out walking their dogs and taking advantage of the sunny fall day. I would highly recommend the white 2.5 mile trail. Next time we will do the 4.5 mile hike. Such a nice place inside the city limits. So nice you forget your in the city and not in Gatlinburg. Looking forward to going back soon.
