Awesome Place to Spend an Afternoon
My husband and I recently visited Deep Ellum Brewing Company and had a blast. I highly recommend booking the open house tickets for a Saturday- for $12 (online) you get a glass to keep and fill with three beers from any of their beers on tap (of which there are lots!), and you get a guided tour through the brewery. We tried several different items on their menu while enjoying our three beers, and everything was delicious. We sat around and took our time and made a fun afternoon of it. I do recommend getting there right at 12 to get a table as it does get extremely crowded soon after. The tours happen at 1pm and at 2pm so we ate and drank from noon and then took the 2pm tour. If you take the 1pm tour, you may have a hard time finding somewhere to sit and eat when you finish the tour.

Quick stop in for a meal and a beer
We stopped in for a quick bite and beer and while the place was fairly busy and the music a bit too loud, we had a fun time and enjoyed it. We tried some the tacos and the sweet tea tenders, both very tasty. We also drank the Play Date (sour) and Decadence (Pilsner), which were both pretty good. We would stop through again when we’re in the area. ?
