Safe Area to Explore with Lots of Fun Boutiques , Restaurants, and Photo Ops
I was in town for just a weekend for a wedding. I had a lot of free time on Saturday. As I began reviewing highlights and tourist attractions of the city I mostly learned about the arboretum, JFK Memorial, the Aquarium, Zoo, and Reunion Tower. All might have been city highlights but when I asked my uber driver the one thing he would suggest, he mentioned the Bishpp Arts District. I was thrilled that I listened. It had a little bit of everything I love - eclectic shops and boutiques, safe, walkable area, a variety of restaurants, some history, and a warm hospitable vibe. I am so glad I tried something that isn't typically hyped in travel literature.

Funky, Eclectic District
This was one of my favorite places to visit. We strolled and peeking in the many little shops, noting all the restaurants, bars, and cafes. Along the way, you'll find Cafe Brazil (one of our favorite restaurant/coffee shops. Then there's, Hunky's for American foods like burgers and fries and you have to stop at the window and pick out a pie at Emporium Pies-I recommend the chocolate silk. There are street musicians on the corner and plenty of music wafting from the bars.
