Cute and informative place

We are an Cultural interpretation center about how the Andean people understand the skies. The explanation in two rooms give us a great perspective, in dome we learn about southern sky and finally, if weather allows, we enjoy some stargazing!

    To cusco and beyond!
    I greatly enjoyed my visit to the Cusco planetarium. Ana Maria Was a seller guy. She was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Her explanation of the night sky today and during the time of the Incas was complete and very animated. And the place is small but their hearts and knowledge is huge. We had three large telescopes to view the sky from outside. This was a once in a lifetime experience and I have been to many planetariums.

    Cool, educational
    The planetarium experience is very well organized and has a convenient pickup from the center of Cusco. The presenters were very knowledgeable and very humorous. Since the planetarium has limited seating one has to reserve a spot in advance. The presentation is mostly about European cosmology (ie constellations) and not Andean, which was not what I expected. Also the site is only near Sacsayhuaman, it is not at Sacsayhuaman itself.
