Such a treat! Love Community Theatre!

My husband and I were staying at Horseshoe Bay Resort this weekend for a little get away from our busy life in Oklahoma. Knowing that Chickasha Community Theatre is a passion of mine, my sweetie looked up "live theaters" in the Hill Country area and found HCCT and that there was a production going on. We got tickets to "The Dixie Swim Club". It was fantastic! The actresses were perfect for the parts they were cast in. A great script obviously, but the ladies comedic timing and delivery was impeccable! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Thank you HCCT for providing wonderful entertainment for your community and visitors.

    A great evening out!
If you are staying in the Horseshoe Bay area, or even feel like making the trip up from Austin, you are in for a treat should you catch a production at the Hill Country Community Theater! For a small venue, they put on incredible performances that often rival ones I have seen in larger theaters! I highly recommend the Hill Country Community Theater for a great evening out, and can't wait for the next production, "The Curious Savage"!

Another great production at the Hill Country Community Theatre
If you are near Marble Falls on 7/25-7/28, be sure to try to get tickets to see the latest production at the Hill Country Community Theatre, "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory," directed by Jenny Lavery of Austin. This is a wonderful production with a very strong cast. HCCT always produces good theatre, but this one ranks as one of the top 5 and I have been attending this theatre since April, 2000. HCCT continues its 28 year history of excellence. Great talent not just in performance but also in set design, props, lighting, special effects. This all-volunteer theatre just keeps getting better and better and with the addition of Steve Reily as Managing Director, the future for live theatre in the hill country looks very bright indeed.
