A must do in Monteria
This is a must do when visiting Monteria! You can simply walk the nature trail while looking/feeding dozens of Iguanas that line the park as well as people watch (equally interesting). There are also other adds-on that will make your visit worthwhile like taking a sunset river tour or hiring the free city bikes. The ambience is completely chilled and to the best of my knowledge, this place is rather safe. The sunset river tour is about U$10 and will take you for an hour up the river where the howler monkeys sit on three tops as well as seeing the daily life of locals that cross the river on old fashion ferries. The Ronda del Sinu is centrally located on Carrera 1st nearby the hotel area with lots of comerce around too. The bike rental is found at least in 3 places along the trail (bring your ID) and the boat tour departs near Calle 33rd from the main dock, with most rides departing between 3pm and 6pm.

Beautiful boulevard
Amazing Park at the Banks of the sinu. You can see many types of birds, iguanas, monkeys, beautiful and Huge trees. It is possible to c ross the River and embark On a small ferry for Just 500 pesos.?
