Museum visit
Small museum in downtown Ndola. Ground floor is devoted to the mining industry. Great if you’re into minerals and gemstones. Upstairs is a hotchpotch of exhibits: stuffed birds, wire toys, and ethnographical artefacts. The latter section is the most interesting with a bit of info on witchcraft, musical instruments, and various traditional ceremonies. Lady at the entrance sulked when she realized we are residents thus paying the lower admission fee. Do they get a cut of the proceeds? Anyway, worth 45 mins of your time when in Ndola, even if it’s inferior in every aspect to the regional museums of Choma and Livingstone.

Rare opportunity for info on Copper mining
The coperbelt museum is worth a visit only if you are interested in the proccess of copper mining and processing. It explains simly the process but there is nothing more to it. If you are traveling in the copperbelt region, you should be aware that this area (icluding the DRC tonge) produces almost half of the copper in the world
