We were delighted to spend an evening in the grand modern auditorium that has superb acoustics. We arrived as daylight faded and it looked magnificent lit up at the water's edge. Gounod's Faust was top-rate. With a contemporary setting, music and singing were exemplary. With centre seats in First Balcony’s first row, we had prime views of the stage. To arrive, we took the metro to Kongens Nytorv and then a fine walk along Nyhavn, crossing the Butterfly Bridge and onwards.See more..
