Sweet Space Museum, Community of Madrid, Spain

4.5 (933 reviews) Monday: Spent 1-2 hours Ranking #16 in Madrid Art Galleries • Speciality Museums • Children's Museums

Excellent entertainment for small children for an hour or so.

Madrid seems to specialise in these attractions, with multiple rooms tricked out in fabulous, imaginative, dream scapes for kids. The first part is guided with presenters setting the mood and scene and interacting with the visitors. Everyone receives generous amounts of sweets, so not for the calorie counter or diabetic! All the rooms are fab and kids will not be bored. There are things to look at, do and taste! Set aside about an hour / hour and a half.

    Fun for 5 year old
Wonderful installations, my daughter had fun. Unfortunately som of the staff wasn’t very polite. My daughter enjoyed playing. We purchased tickets with ice cream at the end of the tour. It turned out they didn’t have any tables to sit. It isn’t very convenient to walk around a mall with two ice cream scoops wrapped in Belgian waffle. When we sat at the food court downstairs we were asked to leave unless we purchased something from the surrounding shops. Very rude.

Great family fun for an hour!
Great family fun for an hour or so. We wanted to find something fun for the kids (aged 9 and 11) to do after a day of sightseeing. We found this place online so turned up on a Sunday evening for a 7pm start time. We paid about 45 euros for 4 people and I must say it was really really good fun! The kids absolutely loved it - particularly the slide and the ball pit! It wasn’t too busy which made it even better but beware there are lots of people taking photos for their Instagram profiles who take FOREVER getting the right pose! We weren’t in a rush so it didn’t bother us, but some people were getting pretty riled by it.
