Amazing tour of the Bernabéu

Whether you are or aren’t massive on football the Bernabeu is a must see. With easy access to get to from Gran Via in the city centre (we got a cab for €9) you cannot miss the stadium as you approach! Tours start at column B and you can take everything in at your own pace which was ideal for us as you get to spend as long as you want in every section. We paid €25 each for the stadium tour (no audio guide included) which involved views of the stadium from the very top, middle, dug out, full access to the changing rooms, press room and of course full knowledge and never ending shrine to the many trophies Real have won over the years. The tour also has fun interactive things to do along the way as well as photo opportunities with players and the champions league trophy. We overall spent 2-3 hours here and it was definitely worth every penny we paid.

I BELIEVE
Growing up in the States, we are traditional American football fans; however in the last few years have taken more interest in fútbol (or what we refer to as soccer). During our trip planning for our vacation to Spain, visiting the home field for The Real Madrid was one of the first things on the list of places especially for my husband; so today we made that happen. Although the stadium is under construction, the club still allows access to show fans from all over the world that the best is yet to come... Real Madrid is the real deal. The gold standard of excellence for an FC I must say. I was amazed from the time I landed my first panoramic view of the field which was followed by the energy that I felt as we walked through the halls that boasts the accomplishments from over the years of such a legendary team.

One of the most iconic football stadiums in the world
One of the most iconic football stadium in the world and the museum of the most successful team. However, the "tour" was really short - we were just let at one of the upper stands to take photos, but there were no visits to dressing rooms, press area, pitch side, etc, as it is on other stadium tours. The museum is very impressive in terms of the trophies won by the club, but again not much items concerning the history of the club or old jerseys, etc. There are also trophies of the basketball team of the club. A must-see place for every football fan, but there is still much room for improvement in terms of the overall experience.
