    Magnificent! Not to be missed!
Buying the tickets on line was easy as was collecting the tickets the next day when we arrived at the museum. Not having to line up to actually purchase the tickets was a relief as that line was quite lengthy even though we got there as soon as the place opened. We also took the audio-guide option that was offered which proved to be invaluable once inside the museum. The collection is just amazing and I wished we could have stayed longer than we did. The whole museum is so well set out that even when it is busy, you can still take your time and stop to ponder any pieces that catch your eye. Even if you are not into art, you will truly enjoy a visit to the Prado.

    A Must See!
One of the great museums of Europe for sure. Mostly paintings done by the great artists of Spain, some sculptures, all beautifully displayed in a pretty magnificent building. Purchase your ticket online. I had problems with the museum’s website, so ended up purchasing through a third party site and had to pay a couple euros more. We got their 45 minutes early, which I highly recommend at minimum if not 1 to 1.5 hours early because of the lines. We did get inside at our designated time. I would also recommend getting the audio guide. Lastly you cannot take photos. It would be beneficial to the Prado to have signs up everywhere telling you that versus just having the security guards shout at people.
