Charming old world
You enter the plaza past modern buildings and really don't expect this old world charm as you round the corner! The plaza looks as if there should be people in period costume walking around but of course it's a bustling modern audience of diners enjoying the atmosphere. Lovely!

Lovely town with friendly central plaza
Navalcarnero is one of the 6 towns recommended by the region of Madrid recommended to visit outside the city. We visited on a Sunday when there was a craft market in the main Plaza. it is a very friendly little town with many cafes and restaurants and at 1300 the church emptied its congregation into the square. Very pleasant with lots of history. the tourist information office is at No 1 on Plaza de Segovia.There are car parks nearby or you can park on the street.
