Good atmosphere
Butarque is twenty minute ride from the city of Madrid. We decided to take a taxi,16 euro ride well worth it. This was a local derby against Getafe and the stadium was practically full, more than 11000 people. We bought VIP tickets for 90 euros. Heated box was really nice in a chilly night, the game began at 9pm. The pitch seemed to be in mint condition. The stadium was in an excellent shape, too. It is not a big stadium but certainly worth visiting.

A long walk
A long walk from Leganes Central Metro station, you are better off taking the regional train from Atocha to Zarzaquemarda which is closer. 25 euros against Athletic Club is the cheapest entrance, although only 20 against Celta Vigo, however the Madrid weather can catch one by surprise and there's is hardly any cover from the elements. There is little available in terms of refreshment, and it is at least a ten minutes stroll to find anything nearby.
