Coliseum Alfonso Perez, Community of Madrid, Spain
3.5 (77 reviews) Spent Ranking #8 in Getafe Arenas & Stadiums
You Won't Believe it is Madrid
Accesible through the Madrid Metro Subway system, this stadium is like most of the ones you can find on small cities through Spain, but it is part of Madrid, altough nothing has to do with the Bernabeu or the Vicente Calderon. This one is small and have a unique flavor, as if you know everyone who comes here every 2 weeks. The atmosphere is that of a small community and the stadium has some incredible point like the wall that separates the stadium from the highway, used by kids to sneak to the games. The home team is Getafe, which used to go from Division 2 to la Liga all the time, but it has managed to stay on the top league for a while. Nice option if you are a football lover.

Nice stadium a few km from Madrid
Pretty nice stadium with loyal supporters that accompany this small team in its LA LIGA adventure since 2003. The place is most of the times with a 60% full capacity.

Authentic - But pricey
It helped that we had a day with no extreme sunshine, heat or rain and so the uncovered stands didn't matter to us. We also had a good game to watch which helped us forget about the uncomfortable seats and shockingly poor food/drink options. The ticket prices are a bit much too, especially when comparing them to other La Liga sides.
