Best summer fun in Summit County!

If you want to know where to go in a town just ask a local mom. On a hiking trail by Breck we met a mom that listed off kid friendly things to do in the area. She said Keystone Lake & Adventure Center. She was right! Pavilion lake side was perfect for lunch, outdoor checkers, AND then the paddle boats! Paddle boat highlights were ducks jumping on back of boat and huge trout jumping as we fed them fish food. The lake has ducks and fish so plenty that they are their own attraction! Kayaks & paddle boards were also fun. What a hit! Beautiful scenery of lake with mountains in the background! The Adventure Center staff, Don, Garrett, & Patrick were very friendly and helpful to our family AND the biggest reason we came back again durning our stay in the area. The Adventure Center had games, wii, bikes to rent and ride around the lake, snack bar, comfortable lounge, and refreshments. Loved our time at Keystone Lake & Adventure Center. Great time & great value for our big family!

    Best ice skating ever!!
The views here are incredible! We loved the "walkers" they had - for kids AND adults who didn't really know how to skate. The music was awesome (best hits from the 90s??) and the skates are great (not your typical indoor rink variety). It was my kids first time on skates and they skated nearly 3 hours. Staff was friendly and your ticket is good all day - if you want to do something else, just turn in your skates, then come back and check them out again when you're ready to do more skating!

Ice skating on Keystone Lake in Colorado
We skated on Keystone Lake almost everynight when we were at the resort for sking over Christmas. It is beautiful. They have a five acre lake and a hockey rink on the lake Everyone plays in the hockey games no matter what the skill or the age. We always bring our own skates as we live in Colorado, but you can rent skates, sticks and sleds to pull babies. They even have little push things for beginners- it is a great family time.
