Wonderful Ski Resort for the Money!
I took my young adult children to Frisco/Dillon area for spring break. Let me say that we are not skiers! Copper Mountain was fantastic! There was an option to buy lift tickets for just the bunny slopes ($20), which was perfect for us and it saved us a ton of money. While my kids were skiing, I enjoyed local brews and shopped at the gift shops. I highly recommend the snow tubing activity which was $54 per person for 1 hour. We had a blast! We parked in the Chapel Lot parking lot. It was the closest to the entrance and just a few minutes walk. Any lot would be okay, however, because of the awesome shuttle bus service. We will definitely be back!

    Nice Cozy Resort
I have not been to many Ski resorts but of the few that I have visited Copper Mountain would rank up there with the best. Copper Mountain is comparable to Park City and Steamboat of which I have visited before. What Copper Mountain has to offer is the closeness and proximity of the resort lifts, restaurant, and shops right next to or below your residence. The transportation around the resort was great, never waited longer than 5 mins for a bus. The food at the resort was great also and there are plenty of choices for restaurants. The ski school was amazing. We did private lessons - Our ski school instructor was awsome - Shout out to Bobby for taking care of us. I had a bit of skill from previous excursions, however my daughter, niece, and grandson had no previous ski experience and were coming down the mountain by the end of the lesson. If you have a family of 5 or so folks interested in skiing the private lessons are worth it and I can't speak for all instructors but I would highly recommend Bobby for lessons. The accomdations were great, we had a 4 bedroom condo which overlooked the lifts. We were able to watch the Christmas parade from our balcony with the hot chocolate in hand. The rooms were well appointed. One other item I appreciated about the resort is that it is in close proximity to some decent stores that allowed us to go out and find some pieces to put a great Christmas meal together. The whole family enjoyed the stay and play.
