Wet and fun family rafting

Our family with teenagers went on the intermediate rafting trip in late July. Our guide Joe was funny and knowledgeable not only about rafting but the history of the area as well. We felt safe and yet got as much thrill as was possible even in low water season. Plenty of splashes! This outfit was professional with buildings (not just temporary tent set-ups) and proper bathrooms on site. Very convenient that all the gear you need is included in the fee and not extra.

    Cool Under Pressure
I went on a Zipline tour with my uncle, there was also a group of 9 people who were scheduled to go with us. From the beginning, there were some challenges and communication issues with the group of 9, but Abby and Bennett were incredibly patient and helpful as they got everyone ready to go. They explained everything very thoroughly and demonstrated multiple times the proper way to place your hands and brake. I firmly believe Abby and Bennett would not have lead us up to the first line, if everyone had not properly demonstrated they knew what they were doing. Unfortunately, the first 2 people from the other group, failed to follow instructions, didn't brake at all, and got hurt on the first line. Bennett displayed great leadership, calmness and concern as he attended to the people and realized the one person was seriously injured. He instantly jumped to action, calling emergency services for someone to come and attend to the person. Ultimately, the guides and the supervisor had to make the call that it would not be safe for the group to continue on the tour. I truly admire and respect the way that Bennett handled the situation, he made the best call in order to keep everyone else safe. Abby and Bennett continued the tour for my uncle and myself after the other group was attended to and taken care of. We had a blast doing the rest of the course and I would recommend this place to anyone who is interested in an adventure. I will definitely be going back.
