Blue Mesa Reservoir is 330 feet at the deepest point and is made up of 3 basins, 4 boat launches, two marinas and over 100 miles of shoreline. It is truly a magnificent area nestled in the Rocky Mountains

Amazing day on the ice with Collin!
We booked a full day ice fishing trophy trip with Sport Fish Colorado. Robbie was easy to communicate with and made booking the trip a breeze. Collin was our guide and WOW! We have done numerous fishing charters around Colorado and Alaska, and Collin was one of the best. He was great about communicating with us the day before. Everything was set up when we arrived - all we did was load our snacks onto a sled and head out on to the ice. He was easy going and fun to talk to during the day, and was just as excited as we were every time we caught a fish! He was extremely knowledgeable about Blue Mesa Reservoir, the fish, and the ecosystem in general. I will ABSOLUTELY be booking another trip with Collin through Sport Fish Colorado.

Wading in Blue Mesa
Our family has had fly fishing in mind for the better part of 15 years. On a whim several days before our trip to western Colorado a quick internet search listed Blue Mesa Fishing. We were a group of 5 and had a finite period available for this activity. Robby got to work and managed to schedule us with John & Hunter who were excellent guides! They were very knowledgeable, attentive & friendly. It was everything we have had in mind and more! We all learned so much. We all caught at least one fish each. Thank you for bringing our fly fishing dream trip to fruition.
