Love this place!
Love this place the best because it is clean and well organized. The grilling stations are in a designated spot so people can’t ruin your day at the beach by firing up the grill right next to you on the sand. Very clean water. It’s my happy place!

So much better than Cherry Creek
I honestly love the Aurora Reservoir. If I want to swim, have a "beach" day, or go along the trails I'd choose Aurora over Cherry Creek any day. It's cleaner, the scenery is better, and it's easier to access. During the Summer, the swimming beach is really nice and unlike other reservoirs, it's not often closed for germs or anything like that. You can also bring boats and such to enjoy in another area.
