Serene and happy!
It was so happy seeing this statues lining up with cute little knitted bonnets on each and everyone of them. You will feel happy just walking pass each of them. The view was actually from the top but you need to get pass 1 of the small temple which led to a small staircase to head down.

Serene and beautiful!
This temple on a hill in Miyajima was so serene and beautiful. Hundreds of small statues lined the path going up and when we visited, the statues all had colorful knitted bonnets. So attractive! Up in the shrine, there were several smaller temples which one could view, as well as a store where one can buy prayer offerings and souvenirs. The view from the top was very nice.

Amazing Temple
Most people come to visit the famous torii and doesn't have time to visit other parats of the island. Daishoin Temple is one of the most impressive temples I visited in Japan. It is located in the forest and it has lots of halls and small temples, mixed with the trees and small creeks. There's also an awesome lamp room. And during the whole temple and trails you'll see lots of small buddha statues. Impressive.
