Amazing Sangu: A must to experience

Nobody should leave Bandarban without experiencing the Sangu and best if by the country boats..! I have been experiencing the amazing Sangu Since 1994 and till last month, so a total of 21 years of know it...! Sometimes, trekking through, sometime country ride, sometimes on floating bamboos, sometimes on engine boats..! Each and every time I have enjoyed Sangu... all those rides... bathing, swimming and drinking from it directly...! Its a beautiful river surrounded by green hills. Stones of different sizes are here and there.. sometimes under the boat beside the boat..! Water is clean and soothing.. Bathing in the Sangu river is a thing to do... only if you can swim or have a life jacket (during the winter)...! There remains strong current on Sangu during the months of July-September, so no travelers or tourists are allowed to go by the river during that time/ monsoon.

Swimming between Hills
It’s was a stunning journey in the river by boat. Recommended to go in afternoon. From Bandarban bus stop you can hire a auto to Kesir ghat (60 bdt). If you hire a boat for 2 hours it’ll come 300 bdt or if hire a engine boat for few locations it may come 1000-1200 bdt. We have visited boroitoli tribal village, and tested fresh green coconut, banana. After finishing the journey you can go to Sangu Bridge and afterwords there is a juice corner (Nilgiri Juice Corner), should try mixed fruits juice.

Bandarban trekking
It was different experience in my life to visiting Bandarban. River cruise in Sangu river. explore remote indigenous villages. It's really fantastic walking tour in Bogalake, Keokradong and Thanchi. Thanks to Tour guide -Eyasin Papon +88 01913394033
