Beautiful and enjoyable evening/night cruise.

Evening cruise on private motor boat. Many commuters cross the river in the mornings and back in the evenings after work. Many large ships anchored in the river.

    Life line River of Bangladesh
Karnaphuli river originates from Saith village of Mamith district, Mizoram, India. I passes through hills moves through locality finally falls in told Bay of Bengal.it is 270 KM long. In 1960 a hydro electric project was built at Kaptai. The biggest river port Chittagong located few KMshort of estuary. There are two bridges one Kalurghat railway and track bridge, built during British Raj.The second one is Shahamanot bridge. On the Northern bank main Town of Chittagong located. There are also some important installations like Naval Base, Dry Dock, refinery, and Airport located in close proximity of the river. In good weather people visits naval Academy site for recreation.Lion share of export and import are done through this river. That's why it is called life line of our country.

    Filthy Wonder
The largest port in Bangladesh, the Karnaphuli River is chock full of fishing boats and major cargo vessels. The river and the riverbank are extraordinarily polluted and smelly. But the buzz and hive of activity are fascinating. Fisherman all up and down the riverbanks mend their nets. Hold your breath, but do visit.
