Very nice Wat.

We did our own, nickel walking tour of Wats and this was our first. Nice grounds, good washroom. It is not a large Wat but we like visiting many to see the diversity of styles inside and out. It has very nice grounds and is quite ornate plus it has a jade Buddha. We did see arrangements and setup for a funeral of young man, sad to see. It is past one of the large local markets and if you like Wats, very much worth visiting.

Wat Phra Singh - Chiang Rai
Wat Pra Sing is a Buddhist temple located almost on Chiang Rai city center and was built in 14th century. It has a Calm & Relaxing area. If you travel to North of Thailand its recommended for Visiting and Meditating. You can find there many Buddha images and Buddhist elements.

Lovely temple in the centre
Beautiful temple. Free admission. In walking distance from centre. Worth a visit although not as popular as the white or blue temple. Not to be missed. Easy to get to without a tour guide. Ensure you have your legs covered (females)
