    Worth a visit
This is a small, slightly old-fashioned museum, but we found it to be well worth the visit and it made a lasting impresssion not just because of the in-depth, candid nature of its information, but also because of its underlying commitment to help move its subjects’ conditions of life forward. If you want a hi-tech, touch-feely museum, don’t come here (though there is a useful introductory slide show); if you want, for instance, insider knowledge about animist beliefs, attitudes towards the ‘human zoo’ and continuity and change in the opiuim trade, then do.

    Hill Tribe Museum
This Museum was just round the corner from the Nak Nakara Hotel we were staying at. Lots of information about the different tribes, we watched a 20 minute video during our visit. We spoke to a young lady who was a Hill Tribe weaver and she gave us her opinions of their way of life. Lots of information on the Golden Triangle and the opium trade. A worthwhile visit for those interested in Hill Tribes.
